Paradise Point Family Medical Centre

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

Looking after Paradise Point families since 1995.

A family-owned general practice on the northern Gold Coast, run by the same family since 1995. Our six GPs, practice nurses and administration team work together so continuity of care is the norm, you see the doctor who knows your history, and consultations are now fully bulk billed for eligible patients.

OUR STORY

A family practice, started by a family.

Mark O'Callaghan opened the clinic in 1995 with the help of his family, and still manages it today. Three decades on, a lot of our patients have been with us for most of that time, and the rapport that comes with it is the part Mark values most. As he puts it: “where else would you get great fishing tips at work?”

Today six GPs, two practice nurses and our administration team look after Paradise Point families from the ground floor of The Pacific Building, with a treatment room, a vein clinic and 4Cyte Pathology all under the same roof.

Bulk billed for eligible patients

Consultations are fully bulk billed for anyone with a current Medicare card, just bring it along.

See the doctor who knows you

We are an appointment-based practice, so you can book with your regular GP. Walk-ins are welcome when time permits.

Everything in one visit

Pathology, dressings, minor procedures and vein treatment happen here, not somewhere across town.

Always learning

Our doctors, nurses and staff take part in ongoing training and education, so your care reflects current practice.
